Terms and Conditions – The Slow Down Company
1. General
These terms and conditions apply to all orders placed with The Slow Down Company. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
All our cushions and home items are carefully handmade by women in India, with a focus on craftsmanship and conscious production.
2. Prices and Orders
All prices are listed in euros (€), including VAT and excluding shipping costs (unless stated otherwise).
Because each item is handmade, slight variations in color, size, or texture may occur — these are part of the beauty and uniqueness of the product.
An order is confirmed once you receive an email confirmation from The Slow Down Company.
3. Payment
Payment must be made in advance using one of the available payment methods.
Orders are shipped once payment has been received in full.
4. Delivery
We ship from the Netherlands and currently deliver only within the Netherlands.
As a small company, we cannot always offer next-day delivery, but we aim to ship all orders within one week after payment.
Any delays caused by postal services are beyond our control.
5. Returns
You have the right to return your order within 14 days of receiving it.
Returned items must be unused and in their original condition and packaging.
Return shipping costs are at your own expense.

6. Warranty and Handmade Products
Our products are handmade from natural materials. Small variations in color, pattern, or shape are normal and reflect the artisanal process.
If there is an issue with your product, please contact us within 7 days of receiving it — we’ll do our best to find a fair and caring solution.
7. Liability
The Slow Down Company is not liable for damage caused by improper use of the product.
Our liability is limited to the purchase amount of the item in question.
8. Privacy
We handle your personal data with care and use it only to process and ship your order, in accordance with our [Privacy Policy].
9. Governing Law
All agreements and transactions are governed by Dutch law.
